So is SOCOM truely dead now?

Before hand it was "dead" but there was still hope. There was an online following and active petitions and coordinated efforts to bring it back. We got into the media a few times, even got some acknowledgement. Then we all imploded on ourselves. H-Hour split the online community into two, and sucked up any interest in another kick starter after everyone got screwed over and we got a shitty game.

Then we imploded on ourselves a 2nd time, killing the real SOCOM and bringing a few posters here. Now there is hardly any discussion at all, just a group of maybe 20 guys who get on once in a while and play a game through their computers.

Is it dead? If they announced a game, where would we even go? Would anyone even care or have they all moved on? Guys like SukMyTurban fell off the face of the earth and have families and shit now. Everyone grew up. a lot of guys just got out of gaming.

Is there even a fanbase anymore? Is there any plans to make another effort? And what happened to that top secret TRS thing they were working on that was supposed to get us a game back? Was that cancelled?

Does anyone even bother coming here anymore?

Seems a rumor has been spreading that SOCOM 5 will hit the PS5.. I hope so, but we all know how rumors start and end with Socom
